About Josep Turro
Josep Turro is a Partner and Investment Committee member at Tachyon. He is also co-founder and President of the Advisory Committee of Barcino Property Socimi, a REIT focused on Spanish real-estate that IPO’d in 2017.
Previously he was CEO of IAD Spain and UK Special Advisor to the IAD Group, a proptech business that became a unicorn in 2021.
Josep brings to Tachyon more than 20 years of experience in private equity, M&A, fund management and business development. Josep has spent most of his career in London, and has worked at Deutsche Bank, IK Partners, GMT Comm. Partners, Ironshield Capital, and Societe Generale.
Josep holds a MSc Econ/Phil from the London School of Economics, and a BA in Mathematics & Philosophy from Oxford University. Josep is a CFA charterholder.
